The Darling Theatre Company (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to creating a professional, safe, and collaborative environment for all participants, including actors, staff, creatives, and visitors. This Code of Conduct outlines the behaviours expected of everyone while involved in our classes, rehearsals, performances, or events.

By participating in our programs or attending our facilities, you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. Respectful Behaviour

All participants must:

  • Treat staff, students, peers, and visitors with kindness, respect, and consideration.

  • Respect differences in background, culture, identity, and ability.

  • Avoid behaviour that harasses, bullies, intimidates, or excludes others.

2. Professionalism and Collaboration

  • Follow instructions from teaching staff, management, and supervisors.

  • Engage fully and contribute positively to the learning or creative environment.

  • Maintain professional boundaries and act responsibly at all times.

3. Safety and Wellbeing

  • Refrain from behaviour that risks harm to yourself or others.

  • Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding policies, including emergency procedures.

  • Report any unsafe behaviour, hazards, or concerns to staff immediately.

4. Accountability

  • The Darling Theatre Company reserves the right to address breaches of this Code, including:

    • Verbal warnings or guidance

    • Temporary suspension from classes, rehearsals, or activities

    • Permanent removal from programs if necessary

5. Commitment to Positive Environments

We aim to ensure that everyone involved in The Darling Theatre Company feels:
