Tuesdays 5:30–9:30 pm & Sunday 9–3 pm

This membership to the company includes an intensive 8-week rehearsal for a professional play, performed at the end of the course for the paying public, comprising at least 6 live evening and matinee shows. With over 136 hours worth of time with the director during the rehearsal period, you’ll refine your craft through voice, movement, text, and technique work guided by industry professionals with over 20yrs experience in the Theatre, TV & film industry. Young actors train across stage and screen in a structured, eight-week program that builds confidence, technique, and audition readiness. Students develop foundational skills in voice, movement, text, improvisation, and character, with weekly scene work on stage and on camera, self-tape practice, and individual coaching every session.

Stage, On-screen Acting &
Auditions Technique

Tuesdays| 6:30–9:30 pm  | Adults 16 years +

Adult actors train across stage and screen in a practical, on-set-inspired environment. Each three-hour session works through stage craft, camera technique, script analysis, self-taping, and scene coverage, with footage from every term made available for your show reel. Scenes are directed as they would be on a professional set, so the technique you build holds up under real conditions.

This class is the pathway into The Darling Theatre Company's performing ensemble; completing the course is a prerequisite for auditioning. The next auditions open in late 2026, casting an early 2027 production at The Byron Theatre.
